It was a good decision to look for new markets abroad. Juan Esteve could see that cava was an internationally recognised beverage and that having his own estate, where the vineyards were worked and the cava was produced, was something that set it apart. Therefore, in the early 1990’s the first pallet of cava left our borders. Today, Avinyó Cava exports around 70% of its production to Switzerland, Germany, Belgium, the United States, etc.
